Stopped here while in port on our Norwegian cruise. The food here is hands down better than the food on the cruise ship. The salmon taco was my favorite. Get the mango salsa and put it on the taco! The fish and chips was delicious and the seafood chowder was also delicious. Staff was friendly and helpful. My wife loved the tartar sauce. Fries were cooked perfectly. Wish we could eat here the rest of our cruise instead of the ship food.
The staff here is super friendly! This was my second time ordering the Halibut & Chips, and it didn’t disappoint. The halibut is incredibly fresh—definitely the best in town. The breading is spot on: perfectly crispy and not too thick. And the chips? So good. You can tell they’re made from hand-cut potatoes, crispy with just the right amount of coarse salt. The tartar sauce is excellent too—great flavor that pairs perfectly with the fish
I was so skeptical going into this centrally located restaurant but OMG was everything loaded with flavor! I had the fried fish tacos and half a crab. My wife ordered the chowder and it was impressive. This is what I'll remember as the true tastes of Alaska. They were very accommodating to gluten-free with many options. But the true story is the seasonings. I had no idea Alaskans had their spices down like this! Highly recommend you give this spot a try!
Ate here for lunch and the staff was so freindly and welcoming!!! We ordered our food then when you sit they bring it out to you. They checked on us and kept our drinks filled up. Everything was extremely high quality and delicious as well! The fish is local and very good! The blackened salmon and golden friend halibut tacos are an excellent choice you can’t go wrong with. The sauce was even house made and had incredible flavor and packed full of it! The nachos were very fresh, thick and crispy and had two perfect salsas to go with them!!!! I’d make sure to check this place out! Very clean with a great aesthetic too!
Eat here in Ketchikan!!! Definitely accurate 4.9 rating! They are new and FANTASTIC! The fish & chips are incredible and the fish tacos looked amazing. (The person next to us got them.) This is where the locals are eating their fish & chips! It’s also less expensive than the other restaurants. It’s across from Berth 5 in the cruise dock. Very close and convenient. Note: It’s the opposite direction from Creek Street. But eat here and then head to the shops and historical features on the other side of town. Or eat here before getting back on board. It’s worth it!
Great food and service. The tacos were delicious. The staff was very nice. It's not a large place and it definitely filled up fast. This was recommended by a local. She was right! We enjoyed everything.
Most amazing tacos I think I’ve ever had. Can’t recommend highly enough! They are located right next to Tongass Trading Company Outlet Store. Do NOT pass them up if you come to visit!! They are on the pricier side, but worth every penny!
This place doesn't look like much on the outside but once you get in you won't regret it. Had the Halibut & Chips. The tarter sauce is homemade & in my opinion they should bottle it and sell it. Halibut was the best I've ever eaten anywhere, moist on the inside & the perfect cruch on the outside. The beef tacos were melt in your mouth amazing and the chips have the perfect amount of salt. Staff was courteous and knowledgeable about the dishes. If I'm ever back in Alaska this will be my first stop! Well done!
